        Verdict

        Pagan Prince can take the getting out stakes, with Desert Cristal and Moscow Times likely to emerge as the big dangers. The selection looks well in here judged on his fast finishing Windsor success of last time, when he swept past a posse of rivals to win by almost two lengths over a similar trip. After injury problems over the years, he now looks fit and even at seven is progressing, so he looks capable of following up here and should be followed until beaten. Desert Cristal will appreciate this ground as much as he did the soft when short-headed at Yarmouth last time. He should again run his race and can be involved, though arguably he is better suited to seven furlongs than a mile. Of the remainder, Moscow Times makes appeal based on his Salisbury win over a mile two starts ago, though last time out here over course and distance he held every chance but could not go through with his run having been upped 2lb. He cannot be dismissed lightly however, and another decent effort is anticipated, but for the winner we think Pagan Prince has what it takes to beat this sizeable field.
