The top seven horses in the handicap all took part in the qualifying race for today's final won by PRIMAEVAL last month. James Fanshawe's charge has a real affinity for this track and left his earlier form on the turf behind when running out a convincing winner. Such was his superiority, he should come out best again despite the worse terms. Elsewhere, Crown Counsel has the form to figure but an unfavourable draw to overcome, though Sinfonico's high draw may not be too much of a hindrance as he can be likes to be held up for a late run. Loyalty is at his best on the Polytrack but this is a big step up in class for him.
