Verdict

Georgian Bay has not won since landing last year’s renewal and was well beaten by the progressive DOMMERSEN (NAP) over track and trip last month. John Gosden’s colt is upped a further 6lb but beat Afjaan a shade more cosily than the narrow winning margin would suggest with Sirius Prospect, Secret Art, Replenish and Jack Of Diamonds all finishing further behind. Wimpole Hall made all at Sandown last time, recording a convincing two-length success, and is preferred to Abareeq and Bastille Day off his current mark while top weight Lat Hawill is capable of getting involved on his day.
