      Verdict

      Withhold won over 1m5f at Bath a fortnight ago and Blakeney Point went very close over 1m6f at Sandown on his latest start. Both look likely to last home over today’s longer trip and can figure if doing so but CAPTAIN PEACOCK makes more appeal. He has nothing to prove stamina-wise having won over 2m at Lingfield last time, beating Contingency in the process, and Bill Knight’s charge also has the beating of Mccools Gold on collateral form.
