    Verdict

    MILDENBERGER (NAP) finished a creditable third behind Raymond Tusk, rated 113, in a conditions' race at Newcastle on his first attempt at 2m. Mark Johnston’s charge should have too much class for these back in handicap company and can return to winning ways. Rainbow Dreamer finished a couple of lengths in front Astromachia with the disappointing Smart Champion well beaten when scoring over track and trip last month and is 5lb higher today while the progressive Pianissimo has won both starts for new connections and can confirm earlier running here with Rydan.
