      Verdict

Noble Fox has been thereabouts over 1m2f and attempts this extra distance for the first time but BE FAIR was having only his second start for Tony Carroll when scoring over today’s trip at Lingfield. He has enough scope to defy a 5lb rise and should go close again. Mrs Ivy ran poorly behind the selection last time having won at Wolverhampton before that while Break The Rules has been hurdling but went close over 1m6f when last on the Flat. Persian Sun tumbles further down the weights while Lightning Attack and Dawn Treader’s latest victories came in plating races.
