The handicapper rates BIONDETTI a 13lb better horse than Darej and while there's probably much less between them, the former does gain our vote. Mahmood Al Zarooni's charge impressed with a thoroughly professional debut display and as the second and fourth both won next time that form looks strong. He holds an entry in the Group Two Beresford Stakes at the Curragh and can justify that by beating Darej, who himself is Group One entered. He was backed into 1/2 on debut, suggesting he does plenty at home, and this 170,000$ purchase looks a colt of some potential. The booking of Richard Hughes aboard Above All, an unraced stable companion of Darej, suggests he's worthy of respect as does the fact he's the half-brother of a seven furlong debut winner who holds a Royal Lodge entry and the market will prove a solid guide. Ari Gold and Jinky look to be making up the numbers having shown little on their respective debuts.
