In depth

Verdict

Folio attracted support on his Windsor debut and ran creditably to finish second behind the useful Baron's Pit. There should be plenty of improvement to come from the son of Perugino while Richard Hannon sets a poser by saddling both Laggan Bay, a stoutly bred son of Alzao, and Mister Links, a well-connected colt by Flying Spur. The market should provide further clues while fellow newcomer Major Speculation, by Spectrum out of a winning juvenile by Persian Bold also makes appeal and should be noted.
