    Verdict

ENABLE used this race as a warm-up for a successful bid on the Arc de Triomphe in 2018. John Gosden’s star beat a couple of higher rated horses than these when winning the King George at Ascot by a wide-margin last time and is impossible to oppose despite carrying a penalty. Prince Of Arran is clear of the rest on these terms having last won when landing the Geelong Cup in Australia in October while Fox Tal has the beating of Tinandali on collateral form. Kirstenbosch is the least exposed of the remainder as she steps up from Listed company.
