In depth

Verdict

Redemptive arrives on the back of a double over 7f on Turf having dead-heated at Lingfield earlier in the week. Mendoza won over 7f here last year and returns to action while Production is another dropping down in trip. But THE LAMPLIGHTER has placed over today’s distance the last twice now including in a tougher sprint at Goodwood last time and gets the vote racing off the same mark today. Cappananty Con is in decent form though 5lb higher than when winning at Lingfield last month while Griggy can do better having struggled from a wide draw here last time.
