        Verdict

        Guvenor's Choice ended a long losing run with a victory at Wolverhampton but is back up in the weights while Venusta will appreciate the drop back to today’s trip having won at Chelmsford earlier in the year. But a chance is taken on ANGLO SAXSON, who returns to the all-weather having faced a more difficult task at Salisbury last time on the back of a maiden success at Yarmouth. Kingston Kurrajong and Global Art are back on winning marks if rediscovering their best but both Anna Of Lorraine and Ruby Red Empress failed to show any progress last time on their respective handicap debuts.
