Verdict
A high draw will be a help for Labelled With Love, who is selected in preference to Stagnite and Mine The Balance in the finale. Millfield Dream is also capable of figuring strongly at this level but appears to have a bit to prove from top weight after posting a handful of modest efforts of late. Mine The Balance showed plenty of zest when dropped back to this trip last time and is sure to benefit from the assistance of the in-form Brett Doyle, who seems to have found the key to riding this son of Desert Style. He is potentially well handicapped just now and appeals as one to keep tabs on whatever happens this afternoon. Stagnite has won a handful of races of this nature and will be dangerous to ignore (if he is backed). A form line through Zazous gives him a chance on these terms, so any support would not be arriving without foundations. Even so, Labelled With Love edges the verdict as a more consistent type to follow. Ian Mongan is a positive jockey booking for the six-year-old and the partnership are fancied to make the most of a rails position if all goes to plan in the finale.
