Verdict
Diminuto is the choice in a fascinating race, Perlachy and Tang may provide most danger. Mark Usher's filly has been ultra consistent during the summer and autumn and put in another terrific effort over the six furlong trip here last time when a close third behind Bridget's Team. That looked to be a slightly better contest than this and she looks set for a good run. Perlachy is making his all-weather debut but had some very good early season form and he should be thereabouts if handling the ground. Tang has shown plenty of promise in three races to date and doesn't look too badly treated for her handicap debut. Billy Ruffian won well last time and looks the pick of the remainder, but Diminuto deserves another success and she gets our vote.
