In depth

Verdict

Safari Sundowner won in the style of an improving sort last time in what was a hotly contested Lingfield handicap. That success was a major improvement on what was previously displayed and the mandatory 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent him posting win number two. Forbidden is the obvious danger to the selection. Second behind the progressive Justcallmehandsome last time out, he may be vulnerable should a strong early pace not exist. Shouldntbethere could provide value at bigger prices based on an unlucky second over course and distance in November of last year. Again a strong pace should assist his claims but Safari Sundowner appears a progressive sort and will be hard to beat.
