In depth

Verdict

Prime Contender is our vote to land the finale with Altos Reales and Whaxaar put forward for the placings. Prime Contender runs here off a career low mark following two disappointing efforts on the all-weather. He is not the most straight forward of characters but he will get few better oppertunities. Altos Reales was a bitter disappointment last time having been supported strongly in the market. He appears to reserve his best form for Kempton and is likely to be in the shake up. Whaxaar justified odds on favouritism last time despite his rider giving supports some concern but this will be a stiffer test. The old man of the party Magic Warrior is worthy of a mention but might prefer a couple of furlongs shorter. Prime Contender is our vote to land the finale.
