In depth
Verdict
Bid For Fame has been called a few names in the past but did little wrong when scoring over course and distance last month (Route Barree and Protagonist both held) and should go well again off his revised mark. Perestroika was a progressive sort last season and, being lightly raced, there may be better to come while Bel should appreciate the step up in trip after staying on in pleasing fashion last time. However, it may pay to side with Monte Carlo who looked unlucky here last time and can gain compensation under his useful apprentice.
