Verdict

Michael Stoute introduces Magnifico, a son of Mark Of Esteem out of a winning miler by Blushing Groom, who will have his supporters but he holds no fancy entries and may be vulnerable on his debut. Bustan, from the Marcus Tregoning stable, has a Derby engagement and is worth noting in the betting exchanges but both Hardrada and Valiant Effort shaped with some promise on their respective debut outings and may be able to take advantage of experience and fitness with marginal for the latter.
