        Verdict

RED MIST is difficult to oppose on these terms. Placed in Listed company at Newbury and fourth in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster last year, Roger Varian’s filly should be winning this given he has a rating of 104. Embour scored over 6f at Salisbury recently and Ask The Dude made a respectable debut over a mile here in March. Skydiving and Distant Chimes may well finish closer while Perisher is a newcomer to note and Jim Crowley prefers the selection’s stablemate Mubhij to Althaaqib.
