CLASSICAL ROSE beat a good yardstick in Golden Wedding at Lingfield last time. The latter has gone close again subsequently and Charlie Fellowes’ filly should make another bold bid. Hala Madrid was placed yet again when runner-up at Bath and still looks a shade high in the weights while Gavarnie Encore and Runaiocht have both won on the all-weather this year but have been beaten off today’s marks since. Mazaaher failed to win last year and doesn’t look particularly well handicapped on his reappearance.
