Verdict

The form of this maiden should be worth following as a few of these have the potential to go on to better things. AL NEKSH was a bit keen on debut at Leicester but showed real promise behind more experienced rivals. He will have come on a bundle for that and the 475,000gns yearling can open his account this afternoon. It's very unusual to see an untried five-year-old racing out of Sir Michael Stoute's yard but Song Of Namibia is related to several middle-distance winners and the dam is from the family of Conduit and Hard Top, who did well for the trainer. The New Approach colt Most Celebrated is also nicely bred and Tarseekh is a full brother to three winners and cost 320,000gns so will likely turn out to be useful.
