In depth

Verdict

High Days could be one to follow in nurseries, and earns the vote over The Game, Regal Rhythm and Far Gone. High Days has shaped with a degree of promise on two of her three maiden starts to date, but does not look a top-class prospect. She will though benefit from a step up in trip in time on breeding, and Sir Michael Stoute's filly has been given a fair mark for her handicap debut, and with Ryan Moore to help, will benefit from the strong handling that she probably needs. The Game came good at the second time of asking at Catterick, but that was on softish going, and it remains to be seen how he will cope with the Polytrack, while Regal Rhythm posted a good effort at Bath, and is another for the short-list as he too makes his bow in nurseries. Far Gone was beaten by a rival rated 10lb inferior on her nursery introduction here last week, and is perhaps best watched, so the pin comes down on High Days.
