Verdict
The older horses have to give plenty of weight away and it may pay to side with one of the three-year-olds; the potential improvers are Toll Road and AVOIR CHOISI, with the vote going to the latter. A half brother to Spinning Lucy, the selection is open to plenty of improvement after just one start. Although his relatives proved suited by six furlongs like his sire, the way that he stayed on over seven furlongs on his debut suggests that the mile trip should be within his compass and he is taken to win. Cool Hand Jake improved from first to second runs and his experience of this track should see him run well, whilst blinkers are applied on Crazy Colours for the first time. Toll Road is open to improvement, and as a half sister to the high-class Mores Wells and Galient, it would be disappointing if he was to finish outside of the first three. Magical Destiny represents a stable in form but they have had some short-price reversals of late. This son of Exceed And Excel went through the ring a few times but showed more promise last time and the step up to a mile may see more improvement. This could be between three of the young ones, with the vote going to Avoir Choisi.
