Verdict

A winner at Newcastle in October, Jack Berry House struggled to get involved carrying a penalty over this longer trip on his reappearance. Placed in a handicap at Lingfield last time Altar Boy is more exposed than Characteristic, who returns to action having finished third over a mile here, but a chance is taken on MAY SONIC. The latter was the subject of a gamble over course and distance on last month’s debut but never recovered from a tardy start and should know more today. For Richard is related to several winners and preferred to Jadella Willfin and Ideal Grace of the newcomers.
