Verdict

SIR OTTOMAN won by only a nose over track and trip last month but the runner-up has boosted the form with a subsequent success. Ivan Furtado’s charge should go close again raised only 2lb and confirm running with Secret Potion and Mother of Dragons in the process. Wolverhampton regular Secondo was placed yet again last time and hasn’t won since 2014 but Mount Wellington could be winning soon off his current mark with an apprentice taking 5lb off his back today. The remainder are harder to fancy though Red Tycoon is back on a winning mark if rediscovering his best.
