Verdict

Speed Company arrived on the bridle at Doncaster two weeks ago but again found little when push came to shove, though holds Minellaforleisure on that run. Eddiemaurice has yet to run a bad race over course and distance and won here last month. He’s gone up 6lb but is unlikely to be far away again. Dino Velvet is a consistent sort while Oakley is improving, though the handicapper starts him off from a prohibitive mark. MAGIC DANCER won here last season and has slipped to a mark only a pound higher than when successful at Cheltenham last April. He’s run well enough this season without pulling up any trees and his turn may have come around again.
