In depth
Verdict
BRYNFA BOY never figured in a decent handicap at Goodwood last month. However, his earlier second at Salisbury would be good enough to win this as he drops into this grade for the first time. Jordaura also stood little chance at Ascot last time and ran accordingly. His defeat in a Wolverhampton claimer before that also raises doubts about his ability to score here, while Dark Lane was beaten the last time he raced at this level when third at Hamilton. Deerslayer won a seller at Brighton a week ago but this is tougher and the enigmatic Lastkingofscotland makes more appeal.
