Verdict

ESCAPE TO GLORY continued on his upward curve with a cosy victory at Lingfield last time. He's up 7lb but there looks plenty more in reserve and Mikael Magnusson's charge can follow up. Perfect Pastime steps up in trip and can figure if lasting home, while Little Black Book moves in the opposite direction having gone close over a mile on his last two starts. Wolverhampton winner Charles Fosterkane is expected to do better with a seasonal comeback at Sandown under his belt and Song Of The Siren will appreciate the return to Polytrack after a poor effort on turf at Ascot last month.
