In depth

Verdict

Amnesty gets the call over Major Blade, with Nobelmann and Dagola seen as the main dangers. Amnesty is another frustrating character, and once again got going too late when a close second over the course-and-distance last time. Gary Moore has his team in decent enough form though, and despite a low draw, he is selected to get his head in front. Major Blade made the most of a low weight to score at Wolverhampton last time, and this ex-German performer looks one to trouble the selection. Nobelmann has a length-and-a-half to make up on the selection on recent running, while Dagola has posted a couple of good efforts at Lingfield this year and is much lower in the ratings than two years ago. The market may throw up another potential challenger, but our vote goes to Amnesty.
