Verdict
Corlough Mountain is the pick over newcomer Coastal Command, with Messiah Garvey, Not Too Taxing and Orchestrator others worth a mention. Although a low draw is not helpful, other than that it is hard to escape the claims of Corlough Mountain who shaped like a certain future winner when runner-up to the odds-on Hurricane Spirit at Lingfield at the end of November. Surrounded by rivals rated in the 80's, he obviously has ability, and is taken to go one better today. Coastal Command, owned by The Queen, is related to plenty of winners, and although already gelded, could turn out to be quite useful, while any support for Not Too Taxing and Otaki should be heeded. Of the others that have raced already, Messiah Garvey has shaped with a modicum of ability, but Corlough Mountain could be one to follow and should be supported.
