      Verdict

      On paper this should be straightforward for Ela Aleka Mou but a chance is taken with Satyricon although there's little to choose between him, Waterline Twenty and Rebellious Spirit at the weights. Ela Aleka Mou has a BHA rating of 80 which is 10lbs higher than anything else in this field. There's every chance that flatters him though and he was beaten sixteen lengths at Southwell on his first run since 2006. His top yard deserves respect and he's fully entitled to have needed that run but he's unlikely to be much of a price this evening. Therefore, a chance is taken with Satyricon who has won at this track and over this distance in the past. He's not been at his best of late but is without his usual headgear today and that may help rekindle his enthusiasm. Rebellious Spirit enjoyed a slice of good fortune at Southwell but had signalled a possible return to form on his penultimate start. He has claims at the weights whilst a case can be made for Waterline Twenty but Satyricon is our tentative selection.
