    Verdict

Irish Acclaim won a maiden over 7f here back in February while Nigel Nott completed a double over 5f early in the year and has switched to Mick Appleby’s yard. Intrepid Italian has gone close since completing a double of his own at Lingfield in June but Danny Tudhope prefers the less-exposed Fresh, beaten only a neck in maiden company at Lingfield, while Freedom Flyer won his maiden at Wolverhampton recently and is fitted with headgear now handicapping. Dual novice winner ITS A GIVEN could only manage third at Windsor on her handicap debut but, back on the all-weather today and with her yard hitting top form subsequently, she gets another chance.
