Verdict

Time Square landed a double at this track last month, beating Lytham and Beggers Belief along the way. A 6lb rise proved beyond him last time, however, when Delightful Sleep finished a couple of places ahead over track and trip. Beggers Belief makes most appeal of the aforementioned on today's terms but another chance goes to THANE OF CAWDOR. The latter was closing down the winner in the final stages when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time and this longer trip can see him go one better. Midnight Bahia dead-heated for first at the same track in January but never looked like following up at this track last month.
