Verdict

The form of Chandrayaan's win over 7f here was boosted when the runner-up subsequently won but John Long's charge could only manage a modest third off today's mark on his latest start. Crucis Abbey scored at Wolverhampton last time and is 3lb higher today and Supa Seeker has gone close on a couple of occasions this month. However, the latter pair found RIGID too good when Tony Carroll's charge won in this grade a fortnight ago and a repeat of that form should be enough for the latter to come out best once again.
