In depth
Verdict
Armeeq and Kerashan have shown plenty of promise already and can fight out the finish here, with the first named just swaying the vote, Unfurled may do best of the newcomers. Marcus Tregoning's colt has come up against some decent types in his two races to date. On his debut he finished under four lengths behind Etlaala, and was then a close up third over course and distance behind Kharish. The experience will be invaluable here and he is taken to open his winning account.Sir Michael Stoute's Kerashan is bred to be a three-year-old but stayed on well over seven furlongs here when fourth to Storm Silk, the extra distance will come in handy today and he will be a big threat to the selection. Unfurled will also be seen in a better light next season over middle distances, but he could run into a place here at decent odds. So it appears to be a two horse affair and Armeeq is taken to land first prize.
