A very closely-knit handicap here and from a shortlist of FASILIGHT, Zelos Dream and Point To Prove, it is the first-named who is given the tentative vote. Marco Botti's filly comes here on the back of a narrow success at Wolverhampton. That was her first win in seven attempts but she hadn't done much wrong previously and now her confidence is boosted she may be hard to beat despite a poor draw. Also done no favours by the machine is Ishe A Lord who shaped with promise on his debut at Leicester back in July. Not seen since, he is not one to take lightly as there are plenty of winners in the family. Point To Prove is nicely-bred but so far he is yet to flourish on the racecourse. However today's race is a drop in class and with Kieren Fallon booked a big run is expected. Cyan Eyed has been well-held on both starts to date however her last assignment was a valuable sales race at Ascot and with this big drop in class, any market support would certainly be worth noting. Starburst Excel has plenty to find with Fasilight on their last run, whilst Devassa also has plenty to make up on that running. Not an easy puzzle to work out but the vote goes to the recent winner Fasilight.
