In depth

Verdict

Georgie The Fourth can go one better than on her debut and is preferred to the likes of Tension Mounts and Barons Court. The fact that the selection has been absent since that highly encouraging debut over course and distance in July is a cause for concern but she has live form claims if the market gives out the right signals. The race has produced its share of winners whilst the winner went on to be placed in a Group 3. It was disappointing that Tension Mounts didn't fare better at Wolverhampton last time but he has twice run well here so has to enter the equation. Barons Court also failed to build on a promising debut but may yet prove that form to be all wrong whilst Cavalry Guard ran well enough last time to suggest that his current connections may be able to find a race for him. Brave Hawk is an interesting newcomer who should be monitored for support but Georgie The Fourth is taken to prevail.
