The defections of Krazy Paving and Dodgy Bob have changed the complexion of the race and may have left the door open for DALNESS EXPRESS. John O’Shea’s charge is 4b higher today than when landing last year’s renewal but returned a clear winner on that occasion and will be sharper for a couple of outings at the turn of the year. Deer Song was winning for only the second time in 54 outings when scoring over track and trip recently and is penalised today while Slipalongtrevaskis has been thereabouts lately still looking for a first success.
