In depth
Verdict
Choice Encounter beat third-placed National Glory less than a length over track and trip a fortnight ago and there is little between that pair. Red Alert signed off last year with a double at Bath in September and may need this while Kamra has struggled since successful here in October. Nezar is upped in class and dropped in trip while Last Page hasn’t raced since June and GLOBAL TANGO (NAP) was having his first outing since landing a novice event at Newcastle when fifth at the same track on his handicap bow. The third horse has subsequently won and Charlie Hills’ grey may prove good enough in what looks a less competitive contest.
