In depth

Verdict

Perfect Lady was conceding plenty of weight when second to a three-year-old at Wolverhampton last time and has every chance on these more favourable terms. But RIPP ORF was narrowly beaten by Sea Fox, rated 85, over 7f here on his latest start and a stack of winners have come out of the race. David Elsworth’s charge gets the nod on that form back over a shorter trip today. The remainder with racecourse experience make no appeal on what little they have shown so far but newcomer Dragstone Rock is a half-brother to the useful Listed winner Justice Day and worth noting.
