Evident Pride can defy top-weight here at the expense of Dichoh and Namid Reprobate. This course and distance winner has been holding his form well and was just touched off her last time out by Magical Music. A repeat of that effort could be good enough this afternoon. Dichoh also boasts winning form here and ran well enough at southwell last time out to suggest he is still on a decent mark. Namid Reprobate is yet another course winner and he bounced back to form last time out when landing a decent race at Sandown. The handicapper hasn't been too harsh with a five pound rise and he must enter calculations. Grand Caiman is one to watch out for in the betting, but we return to Evident Pride as the most likely winner.
