        took keen hold, chse dleaders in 5th on inside, headway 2f out, chased leader over 1f out, ridden and every chance inside final furlong, 3rd one pace and held when hung left well inside final furlong

        Verdict

        Athwaab has won three times here but is still looking a few pounds high in the weights while Amethyst Dawn went up 5lb for scoring at Wolverhampton and couldn't quite cope at Lingfield on her next start. DRESSED IN LACE hasn't had much racing since scoring over the track and trip last March but can run from a 4lb lower mark and is taken to defy her big weight. Climaxfortackle has run well in all four starts already this year and deserved her success at Wolverhampton last month. She's only 2lb higher so should give a good account along with Rose Garnet, who won here in November and wasn't suited by Fibresand last time.
