MISSOULA has bottom-weight and Suzy Smith's mare gets the nod ahead of Royaleety, Bishop's Bridge, Working Title and Your Amount. The gallant mare, a winner of the Ascot Stakes in June, displayed her battling qualities when staying on too strongly for King Edmund at Fontwell. Obviously that form needs improving on to a) defy this handicap mark of 111, and b) foil the rivals in this stronger race. However the slightly longer trip will be up her alley so to speak, and she can run a big race at rewarding odds. At the other end of the weights, Alan King's Your Amount is interesting returning from a break. He beat the fair yardstick Khachaturian when last seen but this mark of 133 demands more. Onnix is an interesting ride for Ian Popham and connections must feel he is poorly treated, Nicky Henderson has a typically strong hand with Working Title (fell in a good race last time and the longer trip may suit) and Royaleety, an interesting ride for Paul Carberry who hangs around after his ride on Harchibald. Midas Way and Bishop's Bridge come her eon the back of recent wins in lesser contests, Albinus needs to get over a disappointing effort last time, whilst Butler's Cabin is in action once again but if he wins over this trip I¿ll eat my hat. Light Yield could be interesting for a yard quietly ticking along, and along with Pagano should improve on their first starts of the season. A race to finish that's as tricky as Paul Daniels' magic sleeve and the most tentative of votes goes to Missoula.
