Verdict
Mick Channon sends two of the leading lights to post here and a chance is taken on Digital to beat Master Robbie. Both of these horses showed consistent form throughout last season but Chris Catlin has opted to ride Digital and the hint should be taken, especially as the selection has had a pipe opener on the all-weather at Lingfield. Camberley looks the main threat to the selection if he is fit as he found traffic problems when a good second behind Fantasy Believer at Newcastle. If he runs up to his rating he will be a danger to all, but he might just need this his first run of the season. Taranaki goes well fresh but it is a while since he has won off a mark this high so he looks opposable and for the winner we return to Digital.
