Verdict
Triage is given the vote here with Emsam Ballou and Bygone Days put forward as the dangers in this maiden stakes. The selection hails from the Mick Channon yard who have already been amongst the winners on the turf, and if the market vibes are positive it might be worth taking a chance on this well-bred filly. Emsam Ballou has been placed on her two efforts to date at Lingfield and she could go well now that she is dropped back to a more suitable trip, although they may just have too much toe for her over 6 furlongs and she may be better over an extra furlong. Bygone Days travelled well for a long way when last seen on the racecourse in October, but he seemed reluctant to go past Green Manalishi on that day and had to settle for second place, and it could be a similar scenario here. Of the rest, Scrunch is from a leading yard and could be interesting if the market vibes are positive, but for the winner we return to Triage.
