Verdict

SECRET SQUIRREL had the pace to win bumpers at Taunton and Fontwell but is bred to be a smart hurdler and can make a successful start over timber. Floating Line was trained by Olly Murphy when making a fine debut in a Fakenham bumper where she only just failed to give 8lb to the winner. Her former handler runs Borodale, who was unlucky to be brought down at Fakenham when still travelling well. Huntingdon bumper winner Dancing In Brazil only got as far as the fifth on his hurdling debut at Wincanton while Perfect Nelson, who had shown promise in Irish bumpers, was said to have been unsuited by testing going when well supported for a Wincanton maiden hurdle.
