Verdict

Small Bad Bob won over fences at Plumpton in May and over hurdles there last month where he had plenty in hand. He has a 7lb rise to contend with and his rider claimed the same amount so this is much tougher. Tapley was well beaten in the latter event but did much better on quicker ground over this track and trip next time, though is 6lb higher. OSLO was probably a bit unlucky not to catch Enthused at Uttoxeter and Liam Harrison's claim can see him home. Toothless won twice earlier this year but his two recent runs have been underwhelming though his stable is in outstanding form.
