        Verdict

        STAND GUARD already holds the record for most wins on the all-weather with his latest success coming over track and trip last month. He’s been given a short break since losing at Southwell subsequently and may well have it in him to notch-up win number 28. Ali Bin Nayef has just the one win to his name but was placed here last time behind Staplehurst, due to run in the previous division, while Medicean Queen has been thereabouts in similar contests recently without threatening to open her account. Tasty Ginger scored at Windsor in August and has won over hurdles subsequently.
