Verdict

It's a year to the day since Kindlelight Sun made a winning debut at Lingfield and this looks a tough race in which to make his reappearance. Spring Jim remains on a long losing run and needs further these days, but Hatton Flight showed a glimpse of his old self when fourth over C&D last time. Kidlat has done all his winning over 1m2f and shorter including his latest start here but there are no doubts about LOVERS CAUSEWAY's ability to stay today's distance. Only 3lb higher than when winning over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last month, Mark Johnston's charge can return to winning ways in this lesser grade.
