Verdict

This looks an interesting beginners' chase but BAMAKO MORIVIERE gets the nod as he's rated 148 over timber having won four times and his pedigree is all about jumping fences. Deputy's Pass looked promising when last seen in 2015 and though he has an absence to overcome his trainer should have him ready. The lightly-raced Last Encounter finished runner-up to Bellshill in a Grade 1 novices' hurdle in January of last year and looks an exciting prospect while Jeannot De Nonant, a dual hurdles winner in France, ran twice over fences there last year. Tesseract won three bumpers and two hurdles before making his chasing debut at Limerick last month where he was in the process of running a big race when falling at the last so he should have learnt from the experience. Winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Master Of Verse is another to look forward to now tackling the bigger obstacles and his yard is in excellent form.
