Verdict

Celtic Monarch won at Uttoxeter in June before finishing third at Cartmel and must have decent claims in a handicap which favours quantity over quality. I'm Serious is 0-12 but has gone close on a few occasions this year, though is looking a few pounds too high at present. JOLY MAKER looked ready to strike when second at Wexford a month ago but was only fifth when a well-backed favourite at Limerick. However, he’s now fitted with headgear and this is an even weaker contest so should go close with Darragh O’Keeffe’s claim in his favour again. Time Is Time has been progressing nicely this summer but a drop in distance probably isn’t ideal, though he shouldn’t be far away again. Bomber Jackson and Ardview Boy are others to consider.
